Almost one week ago, Vietnam officially announced that a Grand Prix will be held in the Vietnamese capital from April 2020.
As the first new race to be announced under Liberty Media’s ownership, the Vietnamese Grand Prix represents Formula 1’s firm commitment to the Asia region where races are already well established in Singapore, China and Japan.
This news has captures strong attention from huge Japanese media agencies like Yahoo News, NHK, Auto Sport, CNN Japanese, Motor Sport. All those news were reported in Japanese aimed at Japanese online readers. 
In general, the Japanese media highly appreciate this event and predict that this event will attract more and more tourists and investment in Vietnam. 
NHK gives high remarks that Vietnam annual economic growth reaches 6%, which is high comparable to other regional countries. Every year, in Vietnam where economic growth of around 6% continues, the number of new cars sold is increasing year by year as the number of middle classes and wealthy people increases.
Japanese media also assumes that the Grand Pix in Vietnam will help automakers sell more cars in Vietnam as the interest in cars is raised up thanks for the event.
