Vietnam Trade Surplus Unexpectedly Surges

Total value of exported goods of Vietnam in the second half of June 2018 is US$ 10.35 billion, an increase of 8.9%, which is equal to US$ 849 million, from the first half of June 2018.

Vietnam Trade Surplus Unexpectedly Surges
According to the preliminary statistics of the Vietnam Customs, total turnover of Vietnam in the second half of June 2018 (from June 16th to June 30th) reaches US$ 19.84 billion, seeing the growth rate of 4.5% (equivalent to US$ 855 million) from the first half of June 2018.
The total turnover of Vietnam in the first half of 2018 is US$ 225.02 billion, an increase of 12.9% year on year, equivalent to US$ 25.72 billion. In which, total turnover of FDI enterprises is US$ 144.83 billion, up 11.9% year-on-year, equivalent to US$ 15.35 billion. 
Total value of exported goods of Vietnam in the second half of June 2018 is US$ 10.35 billion, an increase of 8.9%, which is equal to US$ 849 million, from the first half of June 2018.
By the end of June 2018, total export value of Vietnam is US $ 114.19 billion, an increase of 16.3% year-on-year.
Total value of imported goods of Vietnam in the second half of June 2018 grew merely 0.1% to  US$ 9.48 billion from the first half of 2018. 
From the beginning of 2018 to the end of June 2018, total value of imported goods on Vietnam is US $ 110.83 billion, an increase of 9.6% from the same period of last year.
