On November 4, 2019, The U.S. Trade and Development Agency welcomes businesses and governments to attend The Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF), which will occur during the East Asia Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. 
This event is co-organized with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Thai Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AmCham) and the U.S. ASEAN Business Council (USABC) with the support of the U.S. and the Royal Thai Governments.
The forum will focus on many topics including the Indo – Pacific and the changing global trade landscape with the business perspective from the US; expanding commercial opportunities in the Indo – Pacific, in this section, panelists and participanants will discuss which sectors see growth and how countries can create welcoming environments for companies that are interested in meeting this growing demand. 
What is more, the vibrant digital economy in the Indo – Pacific will be discussed. As more people and businesses in the Indo – Pacific come online, domestic and international tech companaies will be looking into Indo – Pacific nations to foster a free and vibrant digital economy. The opportunities and challenges for the growth of digital economy and initiatives to foster a robust digital economy will be addressed by the speakers and the audience. 
The Indo – Pacific business forum this time has the honor to welcome many distinguished speakers including Wilbur Ross - Secretary of Commerce,U.S. Department of Commerce; David Bohigian - Executive Vice President, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), U.S; Jay Collins - Vice Chairman, Corporate and Investment Banking, Citi; Boonchai Charassangsomboon - Inspector-General, Ministry of Finance, Thailand; and Brian Davis - President, Honeywell ASEAN, etc.
The forum will get the attendance of many corporate representatives, media specialists and reporters from many Indo – Pacific countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, etc.
