The sale volume of by Honda Vietnam, Piaggio Vietnam, Suzuki Vietnam, SYM Vietnam and Yamaha Vietnam in the six-month period, which is the first half of their 2015 fiscal year, increased 50,000 from a year earlier, according to a report of the five-member Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM).
The number of motorbikes in circulation in Vietnam reached 39 million at the end of 2014, above the allegedly saturation threshold of 30 million, according to statistics cited by the Vietnam Economic Times.
Motorbike sales are poised to rise in 2015 from 2014, the first growth after three straight years of decline.
