The valuation of the Vietnam brand has increased 43% year-on-year to $203 billion in 2017, positioning the Southeast Asian country at the 45th among 100 economies, according to Brand Finance. However, Vietnam’s brand valuation is much below those of regional peers such as Singapore ($464 billion), Malaysia ($489 billion) and Thailand ($483 billion).
