China remained the largest supplier of goods for Vietnam in the first quarter of this year, with the import value from the former increasing 19.6% year-on-year to $12.68 billion. The runners-up were South Korea with $9.97 billion, Japan with $3.7 billion and Taiwan with $2.77 billion, according to customs data.
