Hennessy Concert
The 20th Hennessy Concert will take place at the Hanoi Opera House at 8:00 pm on Sunday April 10.
Australian artist will perform the “La Bohème” opera by Giacomo Puccini. The performance will go out live on a screen located outside the Opera House.  
“Seeding Talents” Charity Exhibition
The “Seeding Talents” exhibition will showcase the latest paintings by over 100 kids aged between five and 15, aiming to raise funds for cancer patients.
The exhibition will open at 10:00 am on Sunday April 10 at Fine Arts Center, 29 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi, and run through April 14.
The entrance is free.
“Saycet” Electro Music Night  
L’Espace of the French Institute will host “Saycet” performance by Pierre Lefeuvre at 8:00 pm on Saturday April 9 in Hanoi.
The performance will feature the latest works of Pierre Lefeuvre and be joined by VJ Zita Cochet.
The entrance costs 170,000 dong ($7.6) for non-L’Espace members and 100,000 dong for L’Espace members.
“Storyteller” Exhibition
The Goethe Institute and the Leipzig Museum is organizing the “Storyteller” exhibition, which showcase contemporary fine art works by 11 artists at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hanoi.   
A part of the works and videos will parallel be exhibited at the Goethe Institute, located at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
The entrance is free. The exhibition will run through April 27.
“Vietnam in the 1980s” Photo Exhibition
Michel Blanchard, an AFP reporter between 1976 and 2006, is exhibiting his photographs taken in Hanoi from 1981 to 1983 at the “Vietnam in the 1980” exhibition.
The exhibition will recall the public of a Hanoi of 30 years ago and find out changes that Vietnam has undergone during that period.
The entrance is free. The exhibition will run through April 30 at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.
“Outsiders” Extreme Metal
Thirteen Asian bands will gather at the “Outsiders” event from 13:00 to 21:00 on Saturday April 9 at Saigon Ranger.
The bands include Indonesia’s Death Vomit, Japan’s Undead Daredevil, Vietnam’s Disgusted, Cruel Society and God Father.
Tickets cost 280,000 dong ($1.25) each via ticketbox.vn and 350,000 dong at the entrance.
“The Cinderella”
Vietnamese artists will retell the “Cinderella” story at a ballet performance at Ho Chi Minh City’s Municipal Theater at 8:00 pm on Saturday April 9.
Tickets cost between 150,000 dong and 800,000 dong and can be bought either at the theater or via www.ticketbox.vn.
“Jungle Beats”
Four DJs from the UK will perform their latest works, ranging from House to Garage, Grime, Jungle and Drum&Bass at Hanoi Rock City, 27/52 To Ngoc Van, Hanoi, starting at 21:30.
Entrances are free before 21:30 and cost 50,000 dong each after.
